Good Morning Britain host Susanna Reid looked pretty guilty, as she appeared to spoil a big show secret too early on.
She quickly protested though claiming this not to be the case, but Piers Morgan believed otherwise.
The hosts were discussing Colonel Tom Moore, 100, who was making an appearance on the show later to reveal a surprise.
He's got two books coming out it has been confirmed, while Piers was confused over the big reveal.
Piers was under the impression it was a GMB exclusive, or at least the appearance of the books were, only for Susanna to excitedly reveal all.
He had said: "We've got the great Colonel Tom as he is now, formerly captain of course but promoted by the Queen."
Susanna added: "He's got not one but two books coming out and one is his autobiography."
She then excitedly held the cover up, and showed the book to the camera so viewers could see it.
Suddenly, Piers' face appeared to drop on-screen as he watched her wave the book around.
He said: "I think we're revealing this later aren't we?"
Susanna was very startled by his claim, suddenly fearing she had spilled the beans at the wrong time as Piers continued to stare confused.
While looking guilty, she quickly commented it was already news but he wasn't convinced.
He said: "This is like a big... you may just have ruined everything."
She quipped back: "No it was in the headlines this morning so," with Piers going on: "Well it shouldn't have been because it's supposed to be our big secret."
After a few seconds of awkward silence, the pair burst into laughter before moving on with the show.
Piers told viewers: "Anyway there we are, he's got a book coming out, two in fact."
Dr Hilary Jones called the moment "fantastic" as Susanna concluded: "And we've got it here, there we go."
