Good Morning Britain's Laura Tobin accidentally SWEARS during Blackpool Tower abseil

Good Morning Britain’s weather presenter Laura Tobin accidentally swore live on air during a broadcast from Blackpool Tower.

The 37-year-old dropped an expletive while attempting to abseil down the northern landmark, as part of a special stunt to mark its 125th anniversary.

Despite wearing a series of harnesses and a safety helmet, the TV star looked understandably terrified as she leant back off the edge of the 158 metre structure.

Explaining to her colleagues in the studio that the broadcast was running behind schedule due to her fear of heights, she told Susanna Reid and Ben Shepherd: “I’m meant to be leaning back now and it feels like the most abnormal thing ever.

“I’ve had a little cry and a little swear. I was meant to be cleaning windows at the moment, I’m so sorry but I’m not there.”

She then attempted to begin her abseil, telling viewers: “Here I go… oh f***! Sorry, sorry!

Brave: The presenter later conquered her fears (PA)

“I might have said a bleep word!” she added.

Reid reassured her after the slip-up, telling Tobin that “bleep words are entirely understandable at this stage in proceedings” before admonishing Shepherd for “distracting” her with a joke about the weather forecast.

The presenter eventually managed to face her fears and complete the abseil, prompting a slew of congratulatory messages on Twitter.

“My God that looked absolutely terrifying but how brave you were girl!! There’s only one Laura Tobin,” one viewer wrote.

“Well done Laura Tobin looked scary,” another said, while a third added: “Laura Tobin you are incredible for doing this!
