Good Morning Britain viewers were left surprised on Friday when an unexpected partnership teamed up to host the show.
The hosting lineup for the ITV show has been put under the microscope over the past week after the exit of Piers Morgan.
The always outspoken presenter quit GMB on March 9, hours after he dramatically stormed out of the studio following a clash with colleague Alex Beresford.
Since then, Piers has ruled out a return to the show as rumours link the likes of Jeremy Clarkson, Alex and Ben Shephard to his role, with current GMB star Ben the bookies favourite to land the job.
A whole host of different presenters have taken the reins since Piers' departure in a number of different combinations and on Friday it was Kate Garraway and Charlotte Hawkins at the helm as they discussed everything from calls for Nicola Sturgeon to resign to Government support for theatres and the return of All Star Musicals, with host John Barrowman joining Kate and Charlotte to talk about the show, which will air in Dancing on Ice's usual time slot on Sunday.
And viewers flocked to Twitter to give their opinions on Kate and Charlotte hosting together.
There were plenty of fans of their partnership, with one enthusing: "I love the combination of Kate and Charlotte this morning so relaxed and so much positivity!"
Equally as pleased to see them team up, another viewer reacted: "Fantastic line up today on GMB..! The ‘personality’ is oozing from both Charlotte & Kate... just what we need! Well done girls your a credit to GMB," and a third tweeted: "loving the Kate and Charlotte combo this morning."
A fourth even tweeted GMB's director Erron Gordon to write: "Such a lovely sight to see Kate and Charlotte presenting @GMB. I hope @errongordon will see they make a great team and have them on together more."
But others weren't as convinced on Kate and Charlotte's double act, with one reacting: "Charlotte & Kate #gmb - spells desperation for a Piers replacement" and another commenting: "I’m not sure about Kate and Charlotte together on @GMB Kate has always been my favourite but she is talking over Charlotte a lot.
