Good Morning Britain's Ben Shephard demands Kate Garraway 'be quiet'

Good Morning Britain's Ben Shephard demanded Kate Garraway "be quiet" during today's show.

The broadcasters were co-hosting Friday's edition of the ITV morning news show.

The Tipping Point presenter opened the latest episode of Good Morning Britain on an upbeat note as he was excited at the news Adele had released a sneak preview of her newest single.

However, Ben hit out at his co-host after she kept talking when he tried to introduce the clip.

He joked: "There was a little glimpse of it there but of course Kate was talking over it. There's a bit of her new music!

"She's talking again! I want to play Adele's new music and you're still talking!"

Kate shot back: "Oh he's started already by the way. You'd think I was co-presenting!"

When the clip was ready to be played, Ben pleaded with Kate to be "be quiet for 19 seconds" so they could hear the song.

However, the preview of the new Adele track is only 21 seconds long which left Ben unimpressed.

He quipped: "Oh, you should have carried on talking."

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV and ITVHub
