Good Morning Britain's Adil Ray ran the risk of offending his co-host Ranvir Singh by seeming very underwhelmed at her surprising new role.
The presenting pair have been at the helm of the ITV daytime show this week as Susanna Reid takes a break for half term but, with former Strictly star Ranvir championed by plenty of fans on Monday after demanding answers from business secretary Paul Scully on why Boris Johnson never gives TV interviews.
But Ranvir may see her future away from heated political spats as she revealed on Wednesday's show that she is starring in a new TV campaign to encourage children to eat more vegetables.
Ranvir's acting debut sees her in rather illustrious company, with Emma Thompson also among the stars getting into character for the ad campaign, as well as A manda Holden.
As a clip of the Eat Them To Defeat Them' advert played out on GMB, Ranvir revealed she had the role of "red pepper," telling Adil and others in the studio: "now you seem underwhelmed by my performance - all of you."
Adil replied: "Which one were you? I am very confused."
I was red pepper," said Ranvir.
"What? You were dressed as a pepper? Dressed as a vegetable?" asked Adil.
Not even..." said Ranvir.
Adil said: "What are you doing there? How do we know it is you? Are you brushing your teeth or something? Are you gargling? What are you doing?"
No that is my evil voice - red pepper!" Ranvir told him.
"That is how you greet me first thing in the morning," said Adil.
Other well known stars who have lent their voices to the Eat Them to Defeat Them campaign include Saturday Night Takeaway and In for a Penny star Stephen Mulhern and I'm A Celebrity's reigning Queen of the Castle, Giovanna Fletcher.
