Good Morning Britain host Adil Ray has been defended by viewers after others claimed they'd changed channels due to him being too 'shouty.'
Since Piers Morgan's headline-hitting departure in March, Adil has been a regular behind the GMB desk, presenting alongside the likes of Susanna Reid, Kate Garraway and Ranvir Singh, who is hosting with this week.
On Monday, viewers saw Adil and Ranvir seek answers from business secretary Paul Scully on why Prime Minister Boris Johnson is reluctant to give TV interviews, particularly after the allegations levelled at him by Dominic Cummings last week.
And on Tuesday, another Government minister was put up for questioning, with education secretary Gavin Williamson being challenged on a catch up plan for children's education and a spending review on post-pandemic education recovery.
While some people watching at home enjoyed Adil's approach to the interviews, others who have accused him of shouting too much in recent weeks, too issue with him again.
One tweeted: "I don’t know why Adil Ray thinks it’s ok to shout at politicians on #GMB. It’s rude and adds nothing to the interview. You can ask tough questions without ranting," and another posted: "Mass turn over to Sky or BBC when shouty Adil is on."
A third reacted: "Why does Adil have to constantly shout? It hurts my ears" but, defending Adil, others accused viewers of having 'short memories', given that ex host Piers was also known for his combative style.
One responded to criticism against Adil by tweeting: "“Shouty Adil”?? Blimey you must have hated Piers Morgan"
Another called for Adil and Ranvir to be the full time GMB presenting duo, commenting: "Adil Ray and Ranvir Singh need to be the regular presenters ,they are both brilliant.
