Ranvir Singh had her work cut out today as a noisy Brexit protester interrupted her report live on air.
The Good Morning Britain broadcaster was updating hosts Susanna Reid, Charlotte Hawkins and Ben Shephard about the latest Brexit negotiations when the protester upstaged her by shouting on a megaphone.
The protester, called Steve Bray, is a regular unwanted addition to the breakfast show and today shouted “good morning Piers” throughout Ranvir’s discussion - which was fruitless as it was his day off today.
Professional Ranvir continued her report by raising her voice as Steve shouted incomprehensibly.

At the end of the report, Charlotte said: “We’re battling with a noisy protester again.”
Susanna introduced the man as Steve and explained it was not the first time he has interrupted the ITV show.
The camera zoomed onto Steve, who was holding a Brexit board and shouted: “There’s a lot at stake!”

Frustrated Ranvir declined the offer to say hello to her upstager as Susanna delivered the news the journalist had to keep going with these reports until Brexit had been sorted.

She said: “If Brexit had happened Ranvir could rest but because it keeps going on…”
But Ranvir admitted: “I love it really.”
