Good Morning Britain presenters oblivious to live sweary subtitle blunder

A day doesn't seem to go by without a little live TV blunder as it is live afterall.

On Thursday's show, Good Morning Britain presenters Kate Garraway and Ben Shepherd were left completely unaware of a surprising sweary outburst.

But it wasn't from a guest as the blunder came courtesy of subtitles and the unfortunate placing of the programmes logo.

It happened when a scene of Scunthorpe's steel factory appeared on screen alongside a sign that read: "Welcome to British Steel Scunthorpe."

Which, of course, is completely innocent.

But thanks to GMB's round yellow logo and clock, a cover up of the 'S' - oops.

The mistake happened at around 6.32am this morning during ITV Calendar's news report which airs in Yorkshire and Lincolnshire - hence why the breakfast shows presenters were not aware of the error.

And eagled-eyed viewers spotted the error and wasn't going to let them get away with it.

"Oh dear. The @GMB logo and time were in an unfortunate position this morning @itvcalendar #gmb," tweeted one to which a reply read: "Brilliant, that made me smile."

Another said: "Perfect positioning of the @GMB logo there."

At least it wasn't broadcast everywhere, GMB.

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
