Good Morning Britain presenter loses important gadget live on air in Susanna's 'favourite moment'

Good Morning Britain presenter Susanna Reid was left giggling at her co-host Bill Turnbull this morning after he lost an important gadget.

The pair were reunited in a special three day run this week as Bill stood in for Piers Morgan while he's away on holiday.

The veteran broadcaster, who worked alongside Susanna on BBC Breakfast , admitted he was “thrilled” to be back working with her when the pair joined forces again on Monday .

Today was Bill's last day presenting with Susanna on the popular breakfast show.

Susanna revealed her "favourite moment" was when Bill lost his ear piece during today's show - prompting show runners to embark on a rushed quest to find it during an advert-break.

Susanna laughed as Bill explained the ear piece "popped out" and he needed help to find it.

The former BBC breakfast host said "it just popped out" but he found it among his papers on the desk.

Bill Turnbull and Susanna Reid worked together on the BBC Breakfast sofa for 13 years.

Fans of Good Morning Britain have enjoyed the Susanna and Bill's hosting this week.

On Twitter, viewer Gayle said: "sorry to see Bill Turnbull on his last day with GMB. Him and Suzanna bounce if each other so well. Please come back again Bill."

Fan Leanne added: " @GMB has been a delight to watch with @billtu and @susannareid100 at the helm. Can this be a regular thing please?!"

While another viewer said: " #gmb has been a pleasure to watch this week. Calm, considered, polite. Almost like it’s a proper, grown up news program".
