Good Morning Britain presenter Andi Peters falls over while introducing throat singer in Mongolia

Andi Peters fell over during a competition segment on Good Morning Britain in Outer Mongolia.

The presenter, 49, was telling viewers about an opportunity to win £500,000 when he tripped on the rugged terrain.

While introducing a throat singer, he told the programme: “And also this gentleman here – oh!” before falling over.

Peters promptly got up and said through laughter: “And this gentleman here, is making a noise only with his throat. He’s actually a throat singer. It’s very uneven ground here in outer Mongolia.”

Stacked it: Peters is seen falling over on the show (ITV)

He added: “My producer over there is literally laughing so much.”

After he explained the competition to viewers, newsreader Charlotte Hawkins told producers to replay the hilarious moment.

Carrying on: He managed to recover himself and continue with the show (ITV)

Good Morning Britain co-host Piers Morgan then said: "Yeah, let's watch him fall flat on his face in outer Mongolia."

Morgan, Hawkins and co-host Susanna Reid then laughed at the replay, to which Morgan added: “Ah, this is great. This is what heaven looks like. Andi making an absolute backside of himself."

Peters added: “As if I'm not making Piers happy enough and then I fall over. This is a nightmare."

On Monday, Morgan said during the show they would be sending Peters to somewhere “special” for the competition before later revealing it would be Outer Mongolia.

Peters said in response: “Oh my God. I didn’t even know it was a real place – I thought it was just a phrase. [It’s] between where? China and Russia? That’s like really far.”
