Good Morning Britain host forced to 'battle on' as protester interrupts her on air

Ranvir Singh was supported by her Good Morning Britain co-stars on Thursday, as she was interrupted by a protestor during her live Brexit report.

Steve, who is a regular protestor on the show, started shouting things including “good morning Piers” throughout Ranvir’s discussion.

She was updating Susanna Reid, Charlotte Hawkins and Ben Shephard on what the latest was, with a deal still not agreed on.

But Ranvir had to keep raising her voice, and at one point she appeared to be losing patience as a man could suddenly be heard shouting.

At the end of the report, Charlotte suddenly said: “We’re battling with a noisy protester again.”

Susanna then identified him as a man named Steve, confessing it’s not his first noisy stint on the show.

As Susanna confessed they’d been hearing him through all of the reports, she admitted Ranvir’s work wasn’t done until Brexit was sorted.

She said: “If Brexit had happened Ranvir could rest but because it keeps going on…”

Ranvir decided to take a seat exhausted from the constant reporting outside parliament, but admitted: “I love it really.”
