A guest on Good Morning Britain has slammed Susanna Reid's morning drink habit as 'nutty' on her return to the show.
Susanna was scheduled to be on a break until September - but she made a surprise appearance on Friday's edition of the news programme to host alongside Richard Bacon.
The 50-year-old presenter cut her break short from the ITV breakfast show so Kate Garraway could take her children on holiday, at a time when family could care for her husband Derek as he continues his recovery from long-Covid.

Susanna and Richard were joined by Jeffrey Archer on the opening segment of the show to discuss the fallout from the crisis in Afghanistan.
And as the section was drawing to a close, the 81-year-old novelist couldn't help but ask why Susanna has two cups in front of her.
He said: "They can't both be coffee and they can't both be tea."
Susanna clarified: "One is tea and one is coffee, because my tastes change throughout the morning."
It was Jeffrey Archer's final appearance as a regular commentator on the show and he blasted the the quirk as 'nutty.'
However, co-host Richard Bacon was more complimentary about the idea.
He said: "That's fantastic. I have ADHD and want everything at once. What a great idea."
*GMB airs weekdays at 6am on ITV and ITVHub
