Good Morning Britain presenter Susanna Reid sparked a debate among viewers after making an unusual revelation.
The 49-year-old told her co-host Piers Morgan that she never irons her clothes and nor does she own an iron, which left Piers stunned and viewers divided.
Susanna said there were "more important things in life" than creased clothes and admitted nobody in her house ever irons their clothes.
She added she "literally" doesn't have an iron or an ironing board at her home.
Piers was stunned, describing her stance on the common household chore as a "bombshell".
He said: "Absolutely extraordinary."
Piers repeatedly expressed his shock and dubbed Susanna's confession "irongate".
Susanna's view on ironing divided fans, with viewers taking to Twitter to share their thoughts.
Megan said: "I agree about the iron thing. I hate creased clothes".
Jess said: "I prefer ironed clothes otherwise you would look unkempt surely".
Lisa said: "I like most people don’t like ironing, but I do it as I like to know that I have done my best to send my family out in the world knowing they look smart."
Kelly commented: "Of course iron why would you go out without [ironing] your clothes a would never ever go out without ironing my stuff and a would never ever let my partner go out without his stuff been ironed it's [just] a YES! YES! OF COURSE IRON."
Another fan said: "I iron everything nearly, find it relaxing".
But other viewers agreed with Susanna's stance.
