Good Morning Britain fans concerned as presenter 'goes missing'

Good Morning Britain fans are worried as a much-loved presenter seems to have "gone missing".

The morning programme is regularly fronted by a mix of hosts, including Kate Garraway, Ben Shephard and Richard Madeley. But on Friday, viewers took to social media as one star has not been seen in a while.

Susanna Reid is often at the helm of GMB, but hasn't been seen on the show for two weeks.

Friday's instalment was hosted by Kate and Ben, leaving many viewers concerned about Susanna. Taking to Twitter, Harry said: "Where is Susanna?", while Anthony said: "Is Susanna having another week off? [crying emoji]". Liz said: "Has Susanna Reid gone missing?"

The 52-year-old was last seen on TV on Sunday, when she joined Laura Kuenssberg on her self-titled BBC morning programme. Ahead of the appearance, Susanna shared a selfie of herself and Laura on Instagram.

Captioning the snap, she told fans when they could next expect to see her on Good Morning Britain. Susanna said: SUNDAY! Good to be with Laura K at the end of a tumultuous political year. Back @gmb on Christmas Day".

A pre-recorded episode of Good Morning Britain will air from 7am on December 25
