Good Morning Britain facing Ofcom threats after segment full of sexual innuendo

Good Morning Britain presenters Kate Garraway and Richard Arnold could be in hot water after this morning's show.

Viewers of the show are considering reporting them to Ofcom after an "inappropraite" segment.

The presenters were sat at a pottery wheel at 7am and created a mould that looked like a "phallic lump of clay".

Viewers were appalled by the scenes that the presenters found hilarious, reports Cornwall Live.

Sitting at the pottery wheel behind Arnold, Garraway said: "It's strangely relaxing."

But the pair broke down in laughter as the lump of clay flew across the studio.

Sharing the video, a tweet on the GMB account stated: "Just an innocent pottery making demonstration, nothing to see here."

But viewers took to social media to comment on the antics.

One said: "A phallic lump of clay at 7am anyone @GMB think that could be a tad inappropriate?"

Another wrote: "This needs reporting to @Ofcom. Disgusting innuendo isn't what families want on their TV in the mornings."

A third posted: "Another inappropriate activity at breakfast time, after the stripper episode, when will this programme learn? Probably never, the above is about their level."

Further audience members wrote: "Very surprised to see Kate simulating a sexual act on your programme," and "OMG I must be old, I was appalled by this and it looks like he only just stopped himself from cupping her breasts. Too many answers needed."

However some viewers enjoyed the segment, claiming it was the "funniest thing" they'd seen on TV.

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV at 6am.
