Good Morning Britain blunder sees competition winner swear before taking her mic off

A Good Morning Britain competition winner forgot to take her mic off before letting out a mild expletive - and it didn’t go unnoticed by viewers.

Andi Peters visited a couple in Stockport this morning (Thursday, September 23) as part of the ITV show’s ‘Million Pound Decision’ segment.

But viewers of the show are “sure” they heard the lucky winner mutter a swear word under her breath, before taking her mic off.

Andi Peters ushered the winning couple inside their home before facing the camera to tell viewers how to enter the competition.

He said: “What would you do? We’re giving you the chance to win £1 million totally tax free.

“You either take the million pounds or you make that decision to take £10,000 every month for the next 10 years. You’ve got to decide.”

But while Andi was talking, the competition winner’s mic was still on, and she can be heard whispering the words: “Oh s***.”

Viewers of the show soon picked up on the awkward blunder, taking to Twitter to ask: “Did that woman just say "oh s***" on #gmb?”

Another tweeted: "@andipeters what happened for someone near you to whisper “O s***”? Whilst you were on tv."

A third said: "When Andy Peters walks away from past winners and they don't turn their microphones off and the lady say oh s*** lol."
