Golfdrum Street crash: Passer-by rushes to aid of child after accident flips car on its side

An 11-year-old girl was taken to hospital after a car crash left one vehicle flipped on its side in Dunfermline.

A woman was also taken away for treatment following the incident, which happened on the town's Golfdrum Street shortly before 3.30pm on Monday.

Images show the vehicle overturned on the residential street, with a small group of people on-hand to help those affected.

Police say a child and woman were taken to hospital for treatment. Their current condition is unknown.

A spokesperson said: "Officers attended at Golfdrum Street in Dunfermline following a crash involving two vehicles at 3.25pm on Monday 14 December.

"A woman and an 11-year-old girl were taken to hospital for treatment."
