You never want to be the person who makes a sound during a player’s backswing at a golf tournament – especially if that golfer happens to be your significant other.
At the European Tour’s Italian Open on Friday, Tyrrell Hatton was forced to back off his approach shot when the door of a nearby porta-potty was opened and closed. Hatton laughed about the interruption, and then noticed that it was his fiancée who caused the disturbance, and turned to tell the camera following him exactly who it was.
Hatton eventually recovered and hit a brilliant shot.
Hatton joked on Twitter after his round that the wedding is off.
