Golf fan holds onto his beer after getting drilled by errant Jon Rahm shot

Jon Rahm got off to a brutal start in the final round of Sunday’s THE PLAYERS Championship, but it was especially painful for one golf fan.

On Rahm’s second shot of the par-4 fourth, the Spanish golfer sent the ball sailing over the green and directly off a spectator.

It hit the fan flush — right on the chest. But — astonishingly — this fan managed to hold onto his beer despite being in agonizing pain from getting hit by a golf ball. We have to respect that kind of toughness.

He’ll be feeling that one tomorrow.

The fan would be fine, though. And Rahm made sure he apologized for the errant shot. He signed a glove for the fan who appeared to be in good spirits by the time Rahm made it to the green.

Plus, the fan’s chest gave Rahm a decent lie. Rahm would bogey the hole — the third bogey in his first four holes.
