Phil Mickelson notched multiple numeric milestones Monday with his victory in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
It was his 44th victory on the PGA Tour, his fifth in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and his 14th PGA Tour victory in California. Before he won, he marked his 500th PGA Tour cut made on Friday.

1993 Buick Invitational
The then 22-year-old Mickelson wowed his hometown crowd and won the 1993 Buick Invitational by four shots at Torrey Pines. He closed with a 65 for a 10-under-par 278 total.
1994 Mercedes Championships
Mickelson won the 1994 Mercedes Championships at La Costa Resort in Carlsbad in January. He beat Fred Couples in a playoff after finishing tied at 12-under.
1998 Mercedes Championships
Phil and Amy Mickelson drove off (metaphorically, of course) after he won the 1998 Mercedes Championships. Again, the victory came at La Costa Resort in Carlsbad, California. This time, Mickelson held off a late charge by Tiger Woods and Mark O’Meara with a 4-under 68 in the final round.
1998 AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am
When Phil Mickelson won at Pebble Beach for the first time in 1998, the event was suspended for six months due to multiple days’ worth of bad weather. Officials gave up on Feb. 2 and play resumed and concluded on Aug. 17. Mickelson trailed co-leaders Tom Watson and Tim Herron by one shot when play resumed in the summer. Mickelson would win the “longest event in PGA Tour history” with a 5-under 67.
2000 Buick Invitational
Phil Mickelson and his hometown of San Diego would continue their love affair in 2000 and 2001. In the final year of the 19th Century, Mickelson won the the Buick Invitational at Torrey Pines Golf Course in La Jolla, California. Mickelson would beat Tiger Woods and Shigeki Maruyama by four shots.
2001 Buick Invitational
Lefty was once again the “Boss” at Torrey Pines. He won his second straight Buick Invitational after defeating Frank Lickliter and Davis Love III on the third playoff hole. All three finished at 19-under and beat Tiger Woods by two shots.
2002 Bob Hope Chrysler Classic

2004 Bob Hope Chrysler Classic
Phil Mickelson won the 2004 Bob Hope Chrysler Classic at PGA West in La Quinta, Calif., By this time, he wife Amy had three children: (left to right) then-two-year old Sophia Isabel, four-year old Amanda Brynn and 10-month old Evan Samuel.
2005 AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am
Phil Mickelson scored a four-shot victory over Mike Weir amid the rain at Pebble Beach in 2005. Mickelson finished at 19-under overall.
2007 AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am
Phil Mickelson won at Pebble Beach for the third time in 2007. He pulled away from the field with a 66 in the final round and would beat Kevin Sutherland by five shots at 20-under.
2008 Northern Trust Open
Lefty found his footing at Riviera Country Club in 2008. He won the Northern Trust Open – now known as the Genesis Open – at 12-under overall, scoring a two-shot victory over Jeff Quinney.
2009 Northern Trust Open
Phil Mickelson repeated at Riviera Country Club with a one-shot victory over Steve Stricker. Lefty led by four shots heading into the final round. He eagled No. 1 on Sunday, before slipping down the stretch. Stricker would eventually tie Mickelson before Lefty birdied 16 and 17 to lock down his 35th PGA Tour victory.
2012 AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am
Phil Mickelson won for the fourth time at Pebble Beach in 2012. Lefty had three birdies and an eagle in the first six holes with Tiger Woods in early pursuit. Mickelson fired an 8-under 64 on Sunday to ice the victory by two shots over Charlie Wi. Mickelson finished at 17-under for his 40th PGA Tour victory.
2019 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am
It took an extra day, but Phil Mickelson won for the fifth time at Pebble Beach on the PGA Tour Monday. He defeated Paul Casey by three shots for the 44th win on the Tour. Mickelson’s grandfather was a caddie at Pebble Beach when the course opened 100 years ago. Pebble Beach was also the site of Mickelson’s professional debut. “I have a real sense of gratitude all that this place has done with my family,” he said.
