Golden retriever 'speaks' when greeting her owners in most loving way

A Golden Retriever has its own adorable way of greeting its owner it can seem like it's trying to 'speak' to her humans.

10-month-old Jessie always says hello to everyone around her in the most loving way and has always like to bring a cuddly toy with her ever since she was small.

Her owner, Mandy Stanton, even shared the moment in a video.

Jessie holds her favourite teddy in her mouth, wags her tail with near uncontrollable excitement and makes an unstoppable yet adorable squeaking noise.

Mandy, 48, from Worcester, told TeamDogs : "She started to greet people this way when she was three months old and will always do it for people she knows well and loves. It just got louder as she was growing up."

In the footage filmed by Mandy , you can see how Jessie’s eyes light up with joy as she happily waddles towards her. The pup wasn’t trained to do this, it’s simply her unique way of showing love and happiness towards her humans.

She said: “Golden retrievers are known for their friendliness and I think on a scale of one to 10 Jessie is a 10.

“She is so caring and kind. If one of us is upset she will put her head on your leg or shoulder. If she is sitting next to one of us she will put her paw on you. She does the same with our older dog Sonny who is nearly blind, and she even guides him down the stairs.”

The loving pup lives with Mandy and her husband Guy, two sons Noah and Jack, Sonny the Polish Lowland Sheepdog and Cookie the cat.

Mandy said: “She puts her paw on Sonny and Cookie which is what we think is the equivalent to a hug.

“It’s the combination of her making adorable noises and at the same time swinging her tail and whole bottom like crazy.

“I’m a gardener and after a hard day’s work her greeting warms my soul. The same for my boys. My oldest did A-levels and she helped him hugely with his anxiety by just being persistent in giving love.

“I honestly believe anybody suffering with depression or anxiety should have access to a golden retriever.”
