Get ready. More and more odds makers and sports books are going to continue to plug their stuff as the college football season draws closer and closer. One of those is Golden Nugget who will historically put out lines early enough to create buzz.
Well, the popular sports book is at it again and have targeted some of the top college football games of the year in its latest odds. As you would expect, Ohio State is a big part of that, and I am happy to report that the Buckeyes are favored in all but one of the games it has identified.

Saturday, Sept. 28
Ohio State (-10) at Nebraska
Saturday, Oct. 5
Michigan State at Ohio State (-15.5)
Friday, Oct. 18
Ohio State (-14) at Northwestern
Saturday, Oct. 26
Wisconsin at Ohio State (-13)
Saturday, Nov. 23
Penn State at Ohio State (-10.5)
That’s the good news. Now for the bad. Once again, most so-called experts and betting lines seem to believe that Jimmy khakis is going to find a way to win a big game and breakthrough against the Buckeyes this year. So … Golden Nugget has OSU as an underdog to TTUN as it follows suit.

If you read between the lines then, the folks at Golden Nugget like the Buckeyes to go 11-1, with the lone loss coming to Darth Vader. From there, let any tiebreakers kick in and all that.
I don’t know if I buy Michigan being as good as everyone thinks this year — especially with all the losses on defense, but at some point that program has to break through against the Buckeyes. Is this the year?
