Boss Sabri Lamouchi is in talks over extending his time at Nottingham Forest - and Reds fans couldn’t be happier.
The Frenchman has been something of a revelation since being appointed head coach last summer, mounting a promotion push in the Championship.
Forest were on course for a top six finish before the season was suspended, currently sitting fifth in the table with nine games to play.
The campaign is likely to run beyond the end of Lamouchi’s current contract, which expires in June.
He will remain in charge regardless of how long it takes to complete the 2019/20 term, and is in discussions with the club over a new long-term deal.
Supporters have quickly taken to the former Rennes manager, often serenading him from the stands during games.
He would become the first boss to see out a complete season in the Forest dugout since Billy Davies’ first spell in charge.
