Golden Globes after parties: Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Hailey Bieber and Paris Hilton kick back after 2020 awards

They don't call the Golden Globes 'the biggest party of the year' for nothing.

Hollywood was in celebration mode in the early hours of Sunday morning as the night's winners and losers decamped to a series of star-studded soirees across town.

There were four main competing parties to choose from. The Amazon party welcomed guests including Phoebe Waller-Bridge , who posed happily with her award, and Jon Hamm.

Disney also threw a bash where Patricia Arquette was pictured embracing Joey King dressed in a gown accessorised with a newly-acquired plastic Viking hat. Earlier that night she had used her acceptance speech to attack Trump and the Iran diplomatic crisis.

Meanwhile the stars of Succession hit the HBO party - including Nicholas Braun (better known as the unfortunate Greg), who wore a sharp petrol blue suit and black bow-tie.

Helen Mirren also attended the HBO party with her husband Taylor Hackford. Mirren looked suitably glamorous in a sweeping red dress and diamonds.

The InStyle and Warner Brother's party also delivered with a star-packed guest list. Mother-daughter duo Lisa Bonnet and Zoe Kravitz posed on the red carpet together, while Laverne Cox stunned in a bright tangerine dress.

Awkwafina was also resplendent in a womenswear spin on a tux as she posed with her Golden Globe for The Farewell. She was also pictured FaceTiming a relative to show them her prize.

Hailey Bieber also enjoyed a solo night out in a sparkling black mini dress.

It's not known if Golden Globes guests Beyonce and Jay-Z attended any of the after-parties, but they were pictured sneaking their own champagne into the ceremony - nothing like starting as you mean to go on...
