Golden Globes 2023 winners list: A big night for The Fabelmans, Banshees of Inisherin, Everything Everywhere, White Lotus, Abbott Elementary

The Golden Globes made their return to television after a year when its controversies left the ceremony not ready for primetime.

And it delivered some crowd-pleasing wins, some shock losses and some awards season momentum for heavy hitters including The Fabelmans, The Banshees of Inisherin and Everything Everywhere All At OnceCate Blanchett firmed for Oscars favouritism in best actress with her win, although the other Australian nominees (marked below with an asterisk) were not so lucky.

On the TV side, Abbott Elementary and White Lotus were the big winners, Better Call Saul was overlooked and House of the Dragon swooped in from nowhere to claim best drama.
