Golden Globes 2019 best couple moments: Bradley Cooper, Idris Elba and Anne Hathaway hit the red carpet with their other halves

Along with nods to Time's Up and some showstopping looks (hello Lady Gaga in purple Valentino Couture) the 2019 Golden Globes red carpet saw some pretty loved-up A List couples.

Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas also walked the red carpet together, with Douglas planting a kiss on his wife's hand.

Idris Elba came out with his fiancée Sabrina Dhowre, as did Gina Rodriguez and fiancé Joe LoCicero. Winning the Husband of the Night award was This is Us star Justin Hartley, who fanned out the train for his wife Chrishell Stause so she could get the perfect shot.

A newly engaged Heidi Klum shared a kiss with fiance Tom Kaulitz. Over the Christmas period Klum had shared the news of her engagement to the 29-year-old musician on Instagram, with the caption, "I said YES!"

There to collect his Golden Globe Cecil B. DeMille Award was Jeff Bridges, who thanked his wife Susan Geston. "I gotta thank my sweetheart, Sue. My god, 45 years of support and love, I wouldn't be up here without you my dear", he said.

The 2019 Golden Globes, which took place at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles on Sunday night, also saw big wins from Olivia Colman (who walked away with Best Actress for The Favourite) and Rami Malek, who made an emotional tribute to Queen's Freddie Mercury in his acceptance speech for Best Actor in Bohemian Rhapsody.

With the ceremony wrapped, guests will head on to the Golden Globes after-parties to toast the winners and nominees.
