The 2019 Golden Globes was an action-packed event celebrating the best films, TV shows and acting performances the entertainment industry has to offer.
From Bohemian Rhapsodyunexpectedly winning the most coveted award of the night to Emma Stone allegedly apologising for her whitewashing role in Aloha, the ceremony was extremely eventful.
Nonetheless, what went on behind-the-scenes prior to, during and after the show proved just as entertaining.
In the lead-up to the event, stars such as co-host Sandra Oh, Kristen Bell, Thandie Newton and Ricky Martin all shared photos on their Instagram accounts detailing the hours of preparation that go into getting ready for one of the biggest nights in Hollywood.
Julia Roberts also showed how she and husband Daniel Moder celebrated the proceedings coming to an end: going for a much-deserved In-N-Out burger.

This year's Golden Globes sparked conversations about several significant feminist issues, thanks largely to the acceptance speeches made by winners Glenn Close and Regina King.
In her tearful speech, Close spoke about the importance of women striving for "personal fulfilment", a message that received a standing ovation from the audience.
King used her moment on the stage to vow for gender equality in her future projects, a promise that she hopes other members of the industry will also act upon.
“I’m going to use my platform right now to say in the next two years, everything that I produce — I’m making a vow and it’s going to be tough — to make sure that everything that I produce is 50 per cent women," she said.
Following last year's Golden Globes, which saw the majority of guests where black in solidarity with Time's Up, this year numerous stars wore bracelets and ribbons with the slogan "Time's Up X2" written on them to show their continual support for the movement.
"Women are over represented in many low paying jobs but under represented in leadership positions across nearly every industry," actor Debra Messing wrote on Instagram.
"That’s why, at the beginning of our second year, we are launching #TIMESUPX2, to double the number of women in leadership and across other spaces where women are under represented."
