Golden Globes 2022 winners list: Nicole Kidman, Sarah Snook and Kodi Smit-McPhee score Aussie sweep at 'private' ceremony

Australia's Nicole Kidman, Sarah Snook and Kodi Smit-McPhee have won Golden Globes at what organisers said was a "private" awards ceremony in Los Angeles.

Kidman won best actress in a drama for playing Lucille Ball in Amazon Prime's Being the Ricardos, Snook won best supporting actress for her role in HBO's drama Succession, which also won Best Drama series. And Smit-McPhee won best supporting actor for his role in Netflix western The Power of the Dog.

New Zealand's Jane Campion won best director for Power of the Dog, while West Side Story scooped up awards for its stars as well as in the Best Musical or Comedy film category.

This year there was no telecast, celebrity guests, red carpet, host, press or even a livestream, due to the organisation behind the Globes coming under fire for a lack of diversity.
