Gold seized at Mangaluru airport

Mangaluru Customs Kasaragod Kerala Mangaluru International Airport MIA (Facility)

MANGALURU: Customs at Mangaluru International Airport (MIA) have seized 24ct gold of net weight 199g, and valued at Rs 10.6 lakh from a male passenger hailing from Kasaragod in Kerala, on Monday.

Gold in cylindrical rod form was concealed inside the shaft of a citrus juicer. A case has been registered in this regard, stated an official.
