Gold Cup: Panama vs USA Live Stream, How to Watch Online, TV Channel, Start Time

Gold Cup group play concludes on Wednesday with a clash between Panama and the USA to decide who will top Group D. Both teams are sitting at six points and are hopeful of earning the right to play a second-place group finisher in the quarterfinals. While the U.S. is favored, Panama has historically given them fits in this competition.

The USMNT are coming off undoubtedly their best performance in the Gregg Berhalter era. Their 6-0 thrashing of Trinidad & Tobago featured several inspired showings, none more than Christian Pulisic. The Chelsea-bound attacker shined with a goal and two assists in the dominant victory. Confidence and optimism has been sorely lacking from the USA for the better part of three years, but perhaps the tide is beginning to turn under Berhalter.

Panama hasn’t been as dominant as the USA so far, but that won’t deter them from thinking they can pull off the upset. These two teams have met in the last eight editions of this tournament with Los Canaleros holding the USA to a draw in the last two and grabbing the win in 2011. However, a draw wouldn’t do them much good here as the US holds the goal differential tiebreaker.
