Gold Coast trader to fight fraud charges

A former Gold Coast financial trader is set to face trial for defrauding an investor of more than $60,000.

Andrew John Cobby, 51, was arraigned in the Southport District Court on Thursday on two counts of inducing delivery of property over the value of $30,000.

Cobby appeared by video link to plead not guilty with the matter set down for trial in March with a mention in January.

Separate charges were also adjourned for mention in the magistrates court.
