Police are warning businesses in the Gold Coast to make sure their doors and windows are locked following four burglaries reported in recent weeks.
In each incident, the burglar broke into the business through the back door and left with computer equipment, according to a community alert from Chicago police.
One burglary happened May 27 in the 200 block of East Ohio Street, and the other three happened between May 25 and June 1 in the 200 block of West Hubbard Street, police said.
Anyone with information about the burglaries was asked to call Area Central detectives at 312-747-8380.
