'Going well then!' Man United and Arsenal fans react to Antonio Conte's Alexis Sanchez comments

It has not been a year to remember for former Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez.

The 30-year-old found his opportunities limited at Manchester United last season and joined Italian side Inter Milan on loan this summer.

But Sanchez, who has scored just five goals in 45 appearances at United after moving from Arsenal in January 2018, has only played ten minutes of football for the Serie A side since his summer switch, with the Chilean coming off the bench for the final ten minutes of Inter Milan's 1-0 win against Udinese just after the international break.

He was an unused substitute in Inter's Champions League clash with Slavia Prague last week - and again for the Milan derby on Saturday, despite being included in the matchday squad.

However, Inter boss Antonio Conte has spoken about why Sanchez has not featured more, with the former Chelsea manager stating that he is "not ready" to play in his side.

"For him, it is worth the words I give for everyone else," he said, speaking at a press conference ahead of Inter's game with Lazio this evening (Wednesday).

"When I see ready players, they will be inserted [into the starting XI].

"I have to work in the interest of Inter, not of individuals."

Conte did, however, say that he was happy with the options available to him in his squad, adding that "the more arrows we have available to our bow, the better."

But his comments on Sanchez have got Arsenal and Manchester United fans talking, with the Chilean continuing to struggle for form.

Here's what some fans have been saying about the forward.
