Gogogo Sport ZeroIn Rangefinder - Premium Performance At An Affordable Price

The Gogogo ZeroIn Vpro Rangefinder held in the hand of a golfer.

When it comes to saving golf shots on the course, one of the simple ways to do so is by investing in some sort of distance measuring device. Currently, there are quite a few on the market but, when it comes to affordability, Gogogo Sport have you covered as their ZeroIn Rangefinder provides premium performance that won't break the bank.

It's no secret that some of the best golf rangefinders can set users back hundreds and hundreds of dollars. However, with the ZeroIn, you get a 2,500-yard range (including 500-yards to the flagstick in FlagLock 2.0), Slope Functionality and a brand-new interface that heightens its usability, with all of this coming in at under $150.

Beginning with the aesthetics and, given that you need to keep the rangefinder as still as possible to pick up the correct yardages, Gogogo Sport have thought about the design carefully, and the sleek and robust device is covered in a soft latex that provides a comfortable grip. Weighing just 176 grams, it is therefore lightweight and easy to keep steady when zapping the flags.

Speaking of zapping flags, the ZeroIn is accurate to ±0.5 yards and can measure up to 2,500 yards. What's more, in golf mode, particularly the FlagLock 2.0 setting, you can measure distances to the flag up to 500 yards or, if you prefer, you can opt for metres and even feet! The speed at which it picks up yardages is also impressive and, for even more accuracy, it has Slope Functionality, which provides a more precise reading by factoring in undulations between the user and the flag. For tournament play, where Slope Functionality is illegal, you can easily switch it off, making it a great all-rounder.

It's not just the complicated aspects where the ZeroIn performs, as Gogogo have implemented simple features like a magnetic mount that attaches to your cart whilst you're playing. There have also been readjustments like a brand-new interface, whereby the ZeroIn has a simple-to-use layout that provides excellent readability when looking down the scope.

In terms of battery-life, which can play a big part in the final decision when purchasing a rangefinder, the Gogogo Sport ZeroIn provides 5000 measurements on a single charge, which is more than most other models in this price bracket. If you do run out of charge, you won't have to worry about purchasing another battery either, as the ZeroIn comes with a cable for fast charging.

With so many rangefinders on the market, it can be difficult to narrow down your search for a model that will suit your needs. The Gogogo Sport ZeroIn, though, does all the basics superbly and for a fraction of the price of others on the market. Whether it's a social or competitive round, the ZeroIn will make a welcome addition to anyone's golf bag.
