Gogglebox viewers left creased after Malone family dog causes chaos on set

Gogglebox viewers were left in stitches yesterday evening, as they watched the Malone family dog wreak chaos and havoc on set.

On Friday's instalment of the Channel 4 classic, fans were left replaying the moment that four-legged friend Dave knocked Tom Malone Sr off the family couch.

As the stars sat down to watch Last Woman on Earth starring Sara Pascoe, an unsettled Dave's focus wasn't on the television screen.

The Mirror reports that Pascoe visited Greece in her own show, learning about the 'whistling' language that grand valley residents use to communicate with one another. Tom Sr then wished to show off his own whistling capabilities, but was immediately interrupred by the family pet.

Dave had a burst of energy, leaping on top of Tom Sr - with all sorts of hilarity ensuing. After the pooch sprang itself upon him, Tom ended up rolling backwards - tumbling off the sofa completely.

Tom joked: "K**bhead! K**bhead Dave! F*** it! Dave get off me," while viewers rushed to social media to lap it all up. One user, gushed: "Oh my god. Sorry but I couldn’t help but laugh my Rottweiler was just the same years ago," while another, added: "Funniest moment of the night."

A third, chimed in: "I absolutely belly laughed at this bit, made my day!!!" while another fan who couldn't get enough, echoed: "We rewound at watched again."

Tom and wife Julie are usually joined by their children, Shaun and Vanessa, as they discuss various TV programmes while the entertained public watch on.

Last year, fans praised Tom for an incredible gesture after his wife shared a snap of him donating blood and platelets to the NHS. Sharing the photo of her husband, Julie wrote: "Tom giving platelets and blood today! @givebloodnhs".
