Gogglebox viewers were left gobsmacked after fan-favourite Abbie confessed she'd never heard of Israel.
Abbie, 20, and her best mate Georgia, both from Durham, were responding to the news that the country was going to be on the UK's "green list", meaning travellers wouldn't have to self-isolate upon their return.
"Where's Israel? I've never heard of Israel," Abbie mused, before asking her 21-year-old friend if she "knew where it is".
"You've got to be taking the piss," Georgia replied, before admitting she didn't know either. "Israel? It's something to do with Jesus."
The comedy duo have been surmising from their sofa since 2018, popping up in season 12, and making viewers chuckle ever since.
They went viral in a hysterical scene while watching the 2018 John Lewis Christmas advert in 2018.
The engaging pair were clueless that Your Song was originally sung by music icon Elton John.
Watching the advert, Georgia said: "I know this is Ellie Goulding who sang this but God knows whose it was first."
The friends also received the ultimate accolade when they were tweeted by pop legend Mariah Carey.
Sat watching Mariah’s Magical Christmas Special, Abbie said: “2020 has been saved by Mariah Carey.”
Georgia added: “And that’s all it took.”
Mariah then retweeted with three laughing emojis, writing: “Love this!!”
The concept of viewing someone sat on their sofa watching TV may seem bizarre - but Gogglebox has had the nation gripped for years.

It's catapulted a host of sofa sitters to stardom, including TV favourite Scarlett Moffatt, posh duo Steph and Dom Parker and the much-loved June and Leon Bernicoff, who sadly passed away in 2018.
County Durham-lass Scarlett, 30, has had the most success since leaving the show having appeared on a number of reality TV shows and being crowned the winner of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here in 2016.
