This week's Gogglebox turned out to be one of the most explosive shows ever, as the stars all sat down to discuss *that* Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Oprah interview, and the Piers Morgan Good Morning Britain fallout.
But fans were left distracted after one of the show's most popular duos failed to appear once again.
" @C4Gogglebox we haven’t seen Mary and Marina so far this series .. are they ok ? #Gogglebox," asked one Twitter user.
Another wrote: "WHERE are Mary and marina, can someone please tell me if there’s something I’m missing????!??!?!?!!!!! #Gogglebox "
"I miss Mary and Marina so much. Definitely my favourite Gogglebox duo," said somebody else.
However, a Gogglebox fan page now thinks it has solved the mystery, reports Birmingham Live.
The account tweeted: "We just wanted to give you an update on Mary and Marina they are meant to be back this series!
"But with covid restrictions that [they] can't film at the moment! I can't wait to see them back!"
Mary and Marina were missing from the last series too as bosses deemed it "too risky" to involve the elderly ladies.
They have now received their Covid vaccines, so let's hope it's safe for them to return to our screens when this palava is over. It's not the same without the Nation's adopted Bristolian Nannas.
