Gogglebox returns to Channel 4 tonight (February 26) for a 17th series, and we’re pretty excited.
The show - which will air at 9pm - sees families from across the country commentate on the highs and lows of the week’s TV.
Tonight’s show will see the return of some members of the original Gogglebox cast, and even some newbies, as Channel 4 announced they were accepting applications for the new series last year.
And as the country remains under tight lockdown restrictions, those family members or friends that do not live together will have to socially distance, as they did for the 2020 series.
Some stars - including Jenny and Lee - have decided to move in together to ensure they can continue filming for the show.
But producers haven’t confirmed how filming for the 2021 series has commenced during lockdown.
One thing we do now know, though, is what the cast of Gogglebox will be watching tonight.
Ahead of each programme, an episode description is posted on Channel 4's on-demand service All 4.
It has been confirmed that series 17 episode 1 will see the families cast their eyes over the hugely popular It’s a Sin, as well as the first episode of Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.
Goggleboxers will also be watching Netflix documentary Surviving Death which examines what happens after we die.
As usual, the cast will also be commentating on highlights from This Morning and the weeks news.
And following a week of big announcements, the stars will be sitting down to a BBC News segment on the Prime Minister's road map announcement.
