Gogglebox stars in Hucknall as new "state-of-the-art" RM distribution centre and offices open

A new national headquarters for an educational resource supplier has opened in Nottinghamshire and it was Gogglebox's Siddiqui family who were made guests of honour for the launch.

RM Resources, which supplies technology and resources to schools, teachers and pupils across the globe, called on TV's Bassit Siddiqui as a teacher and a partner who works with the product development team at RM, to help celebrate the opening of the new building at Harrier Park in Hucknall.

The new centre combines four existing distribution centres, previously based in Wiltshire and Nottinghamshire, into what the firm is calling "one state of the art centre" based in Hucknall.

Monique Louis, managing director at RM Resources, said: "We are genuinely excited to be at our new home, which sees us bringing together our Consortium and TTS brands as one team.

"The new Hucknall HQ is a great, fit-for-purpose space that better serves our longer-term business needs and objectives, and provides bright, contemporary working spaces which enable greater collaboration and new ways of working for our existing and future colleagues."

The building stands at nearly 20 metres high and measures an impressive 195,840 square feet.

Monique added: "This, together with our investment in a new enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, is a fantastic example of how, by working together, we can win together – one of our core five business behaviours. We very much look forward to moving in to our energising and invigorating new working environment."

The 70-acre Harrier Park is a long-term joint venture between Rolls-Royce and urban regeneration firm Muse Developments.

The firm added that Harrier Park would help bring the vision for its long-term future to life. Adding that as the distribution centre fully opens it will lead to new job opportunities in the area.
