Gogglebox star Sophie Sandiford has thanked viewers for their support following her breakdown on Friday night's show.
Sophie and her brother Pete were watching Boris Johnson announce a second lockdown last Saturday night when Sophie started to cry.
In the address on Saturday night the Prime Minister said the country would be entering a lockdown lasting until December 2.
Pubs, restaurants and non-essential shops have once again been forced to close their doors and members of the public are ordered to stay at home for the next four weeks in a bid to bring down the spike in cases of coronavirus.
Sophie began to cry, saying the situation was "s*** for everyone" and expressing concern over people's jobs.
Brother Pete reached out to comfort her and said: "Don't cry kid, you'll set me off."
Viewers were similarly moved by Sophie's display of emotion and took to Twitter to share their thoughts.
