Gogglebox star Pete Sandiford has melted hearts with his latest 'dad' update.
However, it's not quite as it seems.

While at the National Television Awards, where Gogglebox picked up the award for Factual Entertainment, Pete revealed that he had become a dad since the series was off air.

He said he was "overwhelmed" by his new role as a doting father before adding that the little tot is a "cool lad."
Then the 26-year-old, who attended the awards ceremony with his sister Sophie Sandiford, revealed that he was a married man after tying the knot with fiancée Paige Yeomans.
The Blackpool native confirmed he had proposed to Paige back in February during an episode of Gogglebox and he also revealed the news he was set to become a dad in the same way.

Fans were delighted when Pete gave a glimpse into fatherhood as he shared a sweet scene on the hit programme with his newborn son.
Pete usually appears on Gogglebox alongside sister Sophie, but for the first episode of the series, the pair were joined by the mini family member.
But taking to Instagram this week, Pete gave fans an update into fatherhood - but not with his son.
