Gogglebox star looks unrecognisable in astonishing drag queen makeover

Gogglebox legend Joe Baggs has been leaving fans blown away by his recent drag queen makeover transformation.

The television star, 24, regularly appears cosied up on the sofa alongside parents Terry and Lisa as well as younger brother George, usually donning a casual jogger set.

In December last year however, Essex-born Baggs took to Instagram to reveal his mysterious drag persona 'Designa Baggs' for the very first time, styling a platinum blonde wig with a neon blue and yellow fitted bodycon dress and matching eye make-up.

On the initial reveal post, proud mum Lisa commented: "My beautiful boy."

Since then, the Gogglebox star has frequently recorded videos - specifically for TikTok - of before and after transformations between Joe and Designa, showing off jaw-dropping make-up, stunning hair pieces and stylish garments.

And it's safe to say that fans are going crazy for his new look, with comments constantly flooding in across his various social media posts asking to see more 'Designa' content.

Responding to one admirer, who wrote under Baggs's latest TikTok transformation video 'I'm so obsessed with your drag please make it a regular occurrence', he confirmed he'd be giving it his best shot next year.

And Baggs certainly granted fans their wishes, making the decision last week to create a personal Instagram account specifially for Designa herself. In the description for the page, he wrote, "She’s a 7ft Essex mum who can’t handle her rosé and loves ASOS next day delivery more than her kids."

The Baggs family joined Gogglebox in 2020 and fans are delighted that they'll once again be appearing on the brand new series, which airs Friday, February 18 at 9pm on Channel 4.
