Gogglebox star Julie Malone leaves fans worried after posting 3am selfie

Gogglebox star Julie Malone has been flooded with support from ‘worried’ fans after a sleepless night.

The star shared a 3am selfie in her PJs to her 212,000 Instagram followers as she questioned why she was still awake.

Julie alongside her family are fan favourites on the popular Channel 4 programme with their hilarious reactions on the week's best TV.

Since being on the show with her husband Tom Sr and children Shaun and Vanessa she has gained a huge number of followers. When she is not on their TV screens she keeps her fans updated on her social media.

While the posts are usually light-hearted and humorous, Julie's most recent update was a more candid one. Posting just after 3am, she explained she couldn't sleep.

She captioned the post: "Why am I still awake ? 1 sheep, 2 sheep.” Many fans, who were also feeling restless, flocked to offer their takes in the comments.

Lisa wrote: "Me too. Having surgery in the morning and my mind is working overtime! Hope you get some sleep soon x." Mammie said: "Try cbd oil or capsules helps with sleep - or vit b 12 shot xxx."

Sharon remarked: "Awww bless you lovely...too much going on and flying around in your head...its hard when that happens.hope you feel better and relax get some sleeps xxx Blessings lovely x." Judith said: "Oh nooo it’s awful when you can’t sleep.

"I’m the same but it’s my own fault watching the late night re-run of Scott & Bailey and it always leaves me wired! Very sad." Debz replied: "I'm always the same Julie this time of morning always got too much on my mind.... are you OK?." Nicola wrote: "I have the same problem the menopause."
