Gogglebox star Ellie Warner shares moving photograph of 'best day' of her life

Gogglebox star Ellie Warner has shared an incredibly moving photograph of the first moments after she gave birth. The reality TV star can be seen holding little Ezra as he surfaces from her birthing pool.

The candid picture shows Ellie lovingly looking down at her son during the first moments of his life. Sharing the picture on Instagram, she said: "International home birth day. Was literally the best day of my life."

Ellie welcomed her son with boyfriend Nat Eddleston last week. She first announced her pregnancy back in December on the hit show while talking to her sister, Izzi.

Amassing thousands of likes, fans praised the 32-year-old for the intimate photograph. One person wrote: "Amazing, so inspirational! Are you allowed home births when it’s your first now? I hope it went as smoothly as possible for you."

Another penned: "Awesome photo - how amazing are you?! I work in a homebirth team and completely love it! For those asking if it’s an option for first time mums - absolutely it is, do speak to a midwife to see if it’s an option for you."

A third wrote: "Yaaaaaasssss! Love to see people repping home birth."

Ellie's new arrival couldn't have happened at a better time as the latest series of the Channel 4 show has just drawn to end for the summer. Stars Tom and Julie Malone are making the most of their time off by heading over the pond for a once-in-lifetime trip.

In their latest social posts, the couple has been sharing their adventures around San Francisco, where Julie has been struggling a bit with the 'cold wind'. Their first video showed them on a boat heading to 'pier 39 to see the seals''.

During more holiday footage, the pair told fans the US city is nice during the day but 'freezing at night'. They've been hitting all the big tourist attractions, including the iconic Golden Gate Bridge.
