Gogglebox star Ellie Warner's boyfriend still fighting for life after hit and run

The boyfriend of Gogglebox star Ellie Warner is continuing to fight for his life after being hit by a car.

Nat Eddleston, who is in his 30s, was rushed to hospital after being run over outside the Woodman pub in Halton, Leeds during a night out with his friends on Friday, March 18.

Nat is said to be in a critical but stable condition after he reportedly suffered from a broken neck and two collapsed lungs during the incident.

West Yorkshire Police say there are no updates and that their investigations are ongoing.

Hairdresser Ellie, 31, is believed to have been by her boyfriend's side throughout, and she has not publicly addressed what is going on.

But she is being supported by her Gogglebox bosses, co-stars and fans as she takes time away from the Channel 4 show.

An insider told the Daily Star : "Ellie has been told to take all the time she needs - everyone on the show is hoping and praying Nat will be ok."

After the collision, police cordoned off the road and told the Mirror: "The pedestrian remains in a critical but stable condition and inquiries are ongoing."

There have been reports that Ellie is "fearful" that Nat may have suffered brain damage after being struck by what is believed to have been a white Seat Leon.

Anyone who could have information to help with the investigation is asked to come forward.

Officers said in a social media statement: "Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision in the Halton area of Leeds involving a white Seat Leon and an adult male pedestrian.
