Gogglebox star Ellie Warner's boyfriend left 'fighting for life' after horror car crash

Gogglebox star Ellie Warner's boyfriend has been left fighting for his life after a horrific car crash over the weekend.

Nat Eddleston, who appeared on the Channel 4 hit show alongside his girlfriend in 2020 during COVID lockdown, is said to have suffered a broken neck and collapsed lungs after being struck by a vehicle in Leeds on Friday night.

Nat is in his 30s and was on a night out with friends in Halton when it happened.

"Nat is in intensive care with a broken neck, broken back, two collapsed lungs and possible brain damage," a source told Leeds Live.

"He is on a life support machine and all the family and Ellie are obviously very worried for him."

The Sun reports that Ellie is "fearful" that Nat has suffered brain damage following the accident on Friday night.

Nat is understood to have been hit by a white Seat Leon travelling out of the city just after midnight, according to reports.

Ellie, a hairdresser, has appeared on Gogglebox alongside her sister, Izzi, since 2015. She also appears with the couple's dogs, Mick and Madge.

Fans of the show rushed to send messages of support her way.

One penned: "We are all thinking of you Nat, everything crossed & wishing you a speedy recovery, hugs 2 u all luv from us all."

Another wrote: "Just read about this, my thoughts are with Ellie and her family. Fingers crossed alls well with her partner and that he makes a speedy recovery."

"So sorry to hear this sending love and hope he pulls through you are in my prayers," a third commented.

While another posted: "Oh this is so sad and heartbreaking. My thoughts are with you and your families. Hope Nat pulls through and makes a good recovery."

And one wrote: "God bless her and her gentleman. He will get through this and don't give up on him."
