Gogglebox star Ellie shares baby bump snap 10 months on from Nat's horror crash

Ellie Warner delighted fans on Boxing Day thanks to the Gogglebox star sharing a snap of her blossoming baby bump.

The TV favourite, 31, posed alongside boyfriend Nat Eddleston and joked her stomach was 'full of Christmas dinner ' on Monday, just weeks on from first announcing her pregnancy on the Channel 4 show.

The news the happy couple will be welcoming their first child into the world together next year comes ten months on from Nat being left with life-threatening injuries after a horrific car crash.

Ellie casually revealed her pregnancy on an episode of Gogglebox earlier this month - telling sister and co-star Izzi Warner how she had 'been for a scan' as she shared a snap of her ultrasound as they sat on the couch together watching telly.

Taking to her Instagram account on Monday, the mum-to-be gave fans a glimpse of her growing baby bump as she enjoyed the festive period with boyfriend Nat.

"Belly full of Christmas dinner," Ellie captioned the snap of herself cradling her bump as she posed next to Nat.

"So happy for you guys," one fan wrote in the comments, with another adding: "Congratulations and great to Nat looking fully recovered. Exciting times for you in 2023!"

A third wrote: "Amazing news ! So glad to your partner Nat is better after his accident."

Nat has previously enjoyed cameos on the Channel 4 show alongside series regular Ellie (Channel 4)

Ellie took a leave of absence from our screens earlier this year following Nat reportedly being knocked down by a car on a Friday night in March, after meeting friends for drinks at a pub in Leeds.

Nat - who has been dating Ellie since 2018 - was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries which included a broken neck and two collapsed lungs, according to a family member speaking at the time.

After being admitted to the hospital, he was placed on life support with those closest to him initially fearing the worst but he was later discharged after making a full recovery.

Ellie returned to Gogglebox alongside sister Izzi in May - with Nat making a cameo via the phone as Ellie discussed a possible 'shotgun wedding' with her sibling.

"I said to Nat this morning, when we get married what type of wedding do you want? And he went: 'A shotgun wedding!" Ellie recalled to sister Izzi.

She continued: "So I said 'ooo does that mean you want me to be pregnant before we get married?' and he said 'no'. I actually want to know what he thought a shotgun wedding was.

Ellie then went on to call Nat to ask him to elaborate, with Nat admitting he thought the term meant the groom was "forced to get married" - with the two sisters laughing at his revelation.

Ellie and Izzi took a break from the show at the height of Nat's battle (Channel 4)

Prior to Ellie's Gogglebox return in May, it had been previously been reported that the star would not be appearing on the Channel 4 show anytime soon, as she stayed by the bedside of her partner.

"Ellie has been told to take all the time she needs - everyone on the show is hoping and praying Nat will be ok," an insider told the Daily Star in March, shortly after Nat's horrific accident.

The Leeds-based star has appeared on the award-winning production alongside her sister Izzi since they joined the Gogglebox family in 2015.
