Gogglebox star Shaun Malone has become a dad for the first time.
Shaun, who became a star of the Channel 4 show alongside his parents and brother, announced the birth of his son on Twitter.
He said: "Super happy to announce the birth of my son Louis Malone."
He then followed up the tweet praising his girlfriend adding: "Thanks for everyone’s interest, mother and baby are both well I couldn't be more proud of my girlfriend I wouldn't be that brave having my belly cut open."
The post has been flooded with messages congratulating the new family of three - including Shaun's dad.
Tom Snr wrote from his joint Twitter account with wife Julie: "Well done son," alongside cake and beer emojis.
Gogglebox fans were intrigued of the whereabouts of Shaun during the post recent series of the hit show after he didn't appear with his family who take part in the programme from their Manchester home.
Talking on the Coaching From The Sofa podcast, the 24-year-old explained his absence.
"I have been missing because my missus is pregnant so I moved in with her while this was going on," Shaun explained referring to the coronavirus lockdown.
"And you can't go between households so I haven't been able to go into my mum and dad's house to do it."
Hopefully we'll see Shaun back with the rest of the family when Gogglebox returns in September.
