Gogglebox's Tom Malone suffers injury to his arm and fans are shocked

Gogglebox was back on Friday (May 27) and there were plenty of laughs from our regular favourites. But there was also some pain, as Tom Malone showed off an injured arm strapped into a support, without mentioning the cause.

Not that he was worried about the injury. In fact, he seemed to be rather enjoying it.

"Got to rest this a bit, now, Julie," he said. "Got to take it easy. "Can't be doing the housework. They said that to me - definitely no housework.

"Rest my arm, take it easy. She said, 'Make sure you get looked after now' and that sort of thing."

Julie was quick as ever to respond, telling Tom: "Did you not tell her that you get looked after anyway, regardless of your arm? You get cups of coffee whenever you want, you get your meals brought in to you on a tray..."

Tom insisted he was in need of some TLC, however, saying: "I need looking after, look at me. I'm an injured puppy here now.

"I need looking after. I'll have to just sit and watch telly now, Julie..."

From Julie's amused response, that's Tom's usual hobby.

Fans were worried about Tom's appearance with the arm support.

And Paul Curran @paulcur74986927 pointed out the filming differences with his comment: "Now you see it now you don't Tom Malone's arm in plaster #Gogglebox "

Gogglebox is on Channel 4 on Fridays at 9pm, or catch up on All 4
