Gogglebox’s Tom Malone shocks with rude secret behind family's onscreen snacks

Gogglebox's Tom Malone revealed that his family arrange their onscreen snacks into cheeky shapes to see if any fans notice.

The 26-year-old reality star, who appears on Channel 4's Gogglebox alongside his family, took to social media to shed light on some of their 'rude' antics.

Tom and his family are renowned for always having a large tray of treats during the show.

His recent response came after a viewer suggested to Tom that the family should put "something obscure... like 4 bowls of soup," on their snack tray.

Speaking to fans on his TikTok page, Tom has now revealed that sometimes the family decide to make some silly shapes, for their own entertainment.

"We have, me and my dad before, put the cakes in different positions and different shapes to see if any eagle-eyed viewers would actually notice," Tom told fans.

In the video, he also wrote: "Sometimes quite rude shapes."

The Malone family joined the hit Channel 4 show in 2014 and are a hugely popular addition on the series - especially for their creative cake selections.

Elsewhere in Tom's latest social media video, the C4 star revealed that fans had in fact been left stunned when the family left a plate of toast on the table.

The reality star went on to reveal that it was because the Malones were filming early in the morning, while the show airs late at night.

He said: "We were watching The Andrew Marr Show when we were filming and obviously we film quite late at night but The Andrew Marr show is actually on TV quite early in the morning.

"So we thought it'd be weird to have cakes in the middle, and we know people always talk about the cakes.

"So we decided to put out a plate of toast, so we had a big plate of toast in front of us filming The Andrew Marr Show and Twitter went nuts.

He added: "It was like ToastGate - everyone was getting on at us like: 'Why do you have toast? Where's the cake?'
